The clone functionality is accessed through the MVS director update screen, the clone function access the “C:\Program Files\Xeetec\MVSDirector\Manifest” directory, any files located in this folder will be copied to the MVS unit attached via USB when the clone button is pressed.

All of the files above need to be present for the MVS to work correctly.
When cloning a MVS unit all of the file are copied to the MVS flash card. Once the copy is complete you need to allow the MVS unit to reboot, this is done by removing the USB Connection.
During the reboot the MVS software checks the current version installed of SUPVFW.DAT and UPDATE.D64 if these files are newer then the MVS unit will upgrade its internal software. This process can take several minutes, during this process the LED on the MVS will flash rapidly.
During the clone process the software will access the owners table in MVS Director and update the drivers name and car number in the MVS Profile.
