Motorsport Video System ( MVS )

The Xeetec MVS is a Solid-State Digital Video Recorder (DVR) optimized and specifically designed for use in the harsh environment of Motorsport competition and is not a re-purposed device. The MVS has been designed to interoperable with ECU’s, Loggers, and Dash Units via it’s CAN or RS232 interfaces. The MVS also has several onboard sensors and inputs allowing it to run in stand alone mode as well as an integrated mode. Being designed by engineers who are racers and race engineers themselves has allowed us to produce a rugged and reliable product range suited to all levels of Motorsport. One of our goals in design was to achieve maximum up time and minimum support requirements. We have also designed it to meet the tough requirements of C-Tick CE and FCC approvals and have such received these approvals. The MVS also has several options for automated unmanned operation including record start on vehicle speed, CAN commands, G force, system or vehicle power on.

The MVS records video and audio using the MPEG-2 video compression at Broadcast quality and includes a built in real time graphics processor that allows sensor and data (captured from CAN, RS232, or onboard sensors) to be overlaid onto the video in real-time without the need for additional hardware.
